Elegant chain bracelet with a beautiful piece of Roman glass enclosed in a sterling silver setting and decorated with two medallions, all handmade by our Palestinian artisan-jeweler from Jerusalem Ahmad and totally unique!
On the medallions are calligraphed the famous poem in homage to Palestine by the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish (“On this land, there is everything that makes life worth living”). It is possible to personalize the medallions with another text, in this case indicate it in the personalization field.

At that time, Rome had conquered the entire Mediterranean and made Jerusalem, because of its strategic position and abundance of sand, its industrial center for glass manufacturing. Palestine was then a major center of glass production. Each piece of jewelry began its life as a household vase, a water jug, a dish or an urn more than 2000 years ago. At the time, it was transparent glass but by being buried underground for 2000 years, the different minerals in the soil naturally colored the glass making them all unique (cobalt gave the blue color, iron shades of green, etc.).
