Originally from Nablus, Sarah is 34 years old and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Birzeit University. She has always been passionate about art and crafts. After completing her studies, like many Palestinians, she struggled to find work in her field. She then started creating her own embroidered products and selling them.
Sarah aims to revive Palestinian embroidery patterns (tatreez) that have almost disappeared by incorporating them into everyday objects that can be used and worn daily. She began making jewelry and expanded to other products such as tote bags, handbags, leather tatreez pouches, bandanas, keychains, and more. She regularly creates new designs. She currently resides in Ramallah.
