Handmade Tatreez Mirror

This round mirror, 19 cm in circumference, is framed with traditional Palestinian embroidery (tatreez), carefully recovered from old dresses across Palestine. These rare fragments were transformed into a mirror by an artisan from the mountainous countryside of Al-Khalil (Hebron), and later brought to life by Sa’ad, a Jerusalem Old City merchant, who first imagined this idea.

Each mirror is truly one of a kind, with no two alike. More than a decorative piece, it is a fragment of Palestinian heritage turned into art.
