The Nablus Kimono combines the richness of Palestinian tatreez with a long, contemporary silhouette.
Sleeveless, flowing and generously cut, it can easily be layered over a simple outfit. Multicoloured embroidery runs along the length of the kimono on both the front and back, making it the defining feature of the piece.
The motifs draw on the aesthetics of tatreez from Nablus and its surrounding region, bringing Palestinian textile heritage into an easy-to-wear contemporary design.
The kimono comes in one size, with a relaxed fit designed to suit a range of body shapes. To help you judge its length and fit from the photos, the model is 1.68 m (5’6″) tall.
The Nablus Kimono is sold in Jerusalem’s Old City by Jawad, a Palestinian merchant and grandfather, who continues his family’s business through his shop.

Hand wash or use a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30°C. Wash with similar colours. Do not rub the embroidery. Do not tumble dry. Iron inside out at a low temperature if necessary.
