An embroidered hoodie that tells a Palestinian story.
In 2005, in the village of Salem near Nablus, Mahfouza Shtayyeh was photographed embracing an olive tree, following the destruction of trees in her village by Israeli settlers. A quiet act of resistance and deep connection to her land, captured in an image that has become emblematic of Palestine.
This photograph inspired the embroidery on this hoodie, created in Tubas, Palestine, by Rania, a young Palestinian mother and artisan.
Thick, comfortable and made to a high standard, this hoodie features a front pouch pocket and carefully crafted embroidery. By choosing it, you carry a piece of Palestinian history while directly supporting Rania’s work and her family.
Wash inside out in a washing bag with similar colours, preferably at 30°C, to preserve the embroidery. Avoid tumble drying. Do not iron directly over the embroidered designs.
