This pendant features the map of Palestine inlaid with lapis lazuli, a natural stone instantly recognisable for its deep blue colour.
Used in jewellery and ornamental objects since antiquity, lapis lazuli brings its own natural shades and patterns to every pendant. As the stone is natural, its colour may vary slightly from one piece to another, making every creation unique.
The pendant is entirely handcrafted by Ahmad, a Palestinian jeweller working in Jerusalem’s Old City, from hallmarked sterling silver 925. It is also stamped “Made in Jerusalem” in Arabic, directly on the piece.
Available in silver or gold-plated, it comes with a sterling silver 925 chain included.
Bringing together the map of Palestine, the deep blue of lapis lazuli and the craftsmanship of a Palestinian jeweller in Jerusalem, this piece offers an elegant way to carry your connection to Palestine.
This design is also available as a ring, bracelet and earrings.
Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household products. As lapis lazuli is a natural stone, also avoid chemicals, abrasive cleaners and impacts.
Gently clean the piece with a soft, dry cloth. For the gold-plated version, avoid repeated friction to preserve the plating.
