Cotton Tote Bag with Mahmoud Darwish Poem

Discover our durable cotton tote bag, a unique piece handmade by Aladin, a Palestinian artisan from the Old City of Jerusalem. More than just a bag, it carries poetry, memory, and resistance.

This design highlights the famous verse by Mahmoud Darwish, the national poet of Palestine and one of the most important voices in modern Arabic literature. Through his work, Darwish gave voice to his people’s struggle and identity. His line,
“On this earth, there is what deserves life” (على هذه الأرض ما يستحق الحياة),
is among his most iconic verses. It reflects the deep attachment to Palestine, the dignity of its people, and the love of life that persists even in adversity.

Available in two elegant finishes — black or gold — this tote bag blends style and meaning. Its eco-friendly, sturdy cotton makes it both ethical and durable.

By choosing this bag, you directly support Palestinian craftsmanship and help preserve a cultural tradition that continues to resist erasure. Carrying it means carrying a piece of living poetry, a symbol of freedom and resilience.
