Two symbols of Palestinian identity brought together in a single piece of jewellery.
In his workshop in Jerusalem’s Old City, Ala’ handcrafts this sterling silver 925 pendant in the shape of Palestine. Within the map, he works the distinctive pattern of the Palestinian keffiyeh, creating a piece in which both its shape and its details carry their own story.
The result is a striking and instantly recognisable design, created to be worn every day while carrying a deeper meaning.
Palestine and the keffiyeh
Far more than a textile pattern, the keffiyeh became one of the most recognisable symbols of Palestinian identity during the 20th century. Here, its traditional pattern is incorporated directly into the shape of Palestine.
By bringing these two elements together, Ala’ creates a Palestine and keffiyeh necklace that offers a way to keep a symbol of Palestinian culture, belonging and memory close to you.
Handcrafted in Jerusalem
Each pendant is individually made by Ala’, a Palestinian jeweller based in Jerusalem’s Old City. The outline of the map, the keffiyeh pattern and the finishing details are worked in sterling silver 925, authenticated by its hallmark.
A matching sterling silver 925 chain is included. Both the pendant and chain can also be ordered with a gold-plated finish for a warmer tone.

Avoid contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household products.
For the sterling silver 925 version, gently wipe the jewellery with a soft cloth after wearing and store it in a dry place.
For the gold-plated version, avoid repeated friction and abrasive products to preserve the finish for as long as possible.
