These sterling silver 925 earrings feature the du‘a taught by the Prophet ﷺ to ‘Aisha when she asked what she should say if she encountered Laylat al-Qadr, the Night of Decree:
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
“O Allah, You are Pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon me.”
The Arabic calligraphy turns this invocation into a piece of jewellery that can be worn every day and holds particular meaning during the final nights of Ramadan.
Each pair is individually handcrafted and engraved by Ahmad, a Palestinian jeweller working in Jerusalem’s Old City, and made from sterling silver 925.
The back can also be personalised with initials, a name, date or small symbol, creating a pair made especially for the person receiving it.
They make a meaningful gift for Ramadan, Laylat al-Qadr, Eid or another special occasion.
The earrings can also be paired with the matching Du‘a of Forgiveness necklace and ring to complete the set.
Avoid contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and chemical products. Gently clean the earrings with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the shine of the silver and the details of the engraving.
