This reversible necklace combines the distinctive shades of natural malachite with a depiction of Al Quds (Jerusalem) engraved on the other side.
Malachite is instantly recognisable by its rich shades of green and natural patterns. Each fragment has its own lines and variations in colour, meaning no two stones are exactly alike.
The necklace is entirely handmade by Ala’, a Palestinian jeweller based in Jerusalem’s Old City. Both the pendant and chain are made from hallmarked sterling silver 925.
It is also available with a gold-plated finish, with a matching chain included.
Thanks to its reversible design, it can be worn with the malachite side facing outward to showcase the stone’s natural shades, or with the Al Quds side to reveal the engraving.
