Two authentic antique Palestinian coins transformed into a bracelet in Jerusalem.
In his workshop in Jerusalem’s Old City, Ahmad transforms original Palestinian coins into jewellery. For this bracelet, he combines two genuine period coins with a setting that he handcrafts entirely from sterling silver 925.
The coins are neither reproductions nor decorative imitations: they are authentic antique Palestinian coins, incorporated directly into the bracelet.
The result is an elegant and distinctive piece that allows you to wear genuine fragments of Palestinian monetary history on your wrist.
Every bracelet is unique
Having survived through the decades, every coin has its own individual characteristics. The year, patina, shades and natural signs of age may vary from those shown in the photographs.
These variations are part of the character of the antique coins and make every bracelet naturally unique.
A piece of Palestinian monetary history
The Palestine pound (جُنَيْه فِلَسْطِينِيّ) was introduced in 1927 and used during the British Mandate period. It followed a period in which the Egyptian pound circulated in Palestine after Ottoman currency ceased to be used.
Coins and banknotes issued under the authority of the Palestine Currency Board featured inscriptions in Arabic, English and Hebrew.
Today, these original coins remain tangible witnesses to the monetary system that existed in Palestine before 1948. Ahmad gives them a new life by transforming them by hand in his Jerusalem workshop.

Gently clean the bracelet with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive products and metal cleaners on the antique coins to preserve their natural patina.
