Palestinian Coin Cufflinks in Sterling Silver – 1 mil

Designed to complement a shirt for a wedding, celebration, ceremony or any other special occasion, these cufflinks offer a discreet and refined way to add a Palestinian touch to an elegant outfit.

Each cufflink is made from an authentic antique Palestinian 1 mil coin, measuring approximately 2 cm in diameter, transformed into an accessory by Ahmad in his workshop in Jerusalem’s Old City.

A tangible trace of Palestine before 1948

The coins belong to the currency introduced in Palestine from 1927, under the authority of the Palestine Currency Board during the British Mandate period.

The name “Palestine” appears directly on these coins in Arabic, English and Hebrew, alongside their denomination and year of minting.

These inscriptions are neither reproduced nor added to create the cufflinks: they belong to the original coins themselves. Each pair therefore preserves a genuine tangible trace of Palestine before 1948, now transformed by the hands of a Palestinian jeweller in Jerusalem.

In his workshop in Jerusalem’s Old City, Ahmad transforms each coin by hand and creates its sterling silver 925 setting.

As the coins are authentic antiques, their year of minting, patina, shades and signs of wear may vary. These differences are part of their history and make every pair genuinely unique.
