This sterling silver 925 pendant follows the silhouette of the map of Palestine, with the Dome of the Rock depicted at its heart — one of Jerusalem’s most recognisable monuments.
Built in the 7th century, the Dome of the Rock stands within the Al-Aqsa / Al-Haram al-Sharif compound, regarded as the third holiest site in Islam after Mecca and Medina. It is also one of the most distinctive historic monuments of Jerusalem’s Old City.
Handcrafted in Jerusalem
The pendant is entirely handcrafted by Ahmad, a Palestinian jeweller working in Jerusalem’s Old City.
His detailed craftsmanship allows the architectural features of the Dome of the Rock to be incorporated within the silhouette of Palestine, creating an instantly recognisable design.
Each pendant is made from hallmarked sterling silver 925 and comes with a matching sterling silver 925 chain.
It can also be ordered with a gold-plated finish (+€15), with the chain finished to match.
Bringing together the shape of Palestine and an emblem of Al Quds, this necklace combines place, heritage and spirituality within a single handcrafted piece.
Avoid contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household products.
For the sterling silver 925 version, gently polish with a soft cloth when needed. For the gold-plated version, avoid repeated friction and abrasive products to help preserve the finish.
