This Palestine-shaped pendant brings together the lustre of silver and the depth of black onyx, chosen for its intense colour and its traditional association with strength and resilience.
Through this creation, Ala’ sought to pay tribute to Palestinians killed in the Gaza Strip. The understated character of black onyx gives the piece a particular significance, conceived both as a piece of jewellery and an object of remembrance.
Each pendant is entirely handcrafted by Ala’, a Palestinian jeweller working in Jerusalem’s Old City, from sterling silver 925. The natural stone is worked to follow the silhouette of Palestine, with subtle variations making each piece individual.
The pendant is available in silver or gold-plated and comes with a complimentary sterling silver 925 chain measuring approximately 45 cm.
A refined and deeply symbolic creation, handcrafted in Jerusalem and available in limited quantities.
Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household products. Gently clean the piece with a soft, dry cloth and avoid abrasive products on the onyx.
