This ring bears one of the most celebrated lines by Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish:
“على هذه الأرض ما يستحق الحياة”
“On this earth, there is that which deserves life.”
A few words that have become emblematic, bringing together love of the land, hope and an attachment to life. Engraved into silver, they give the piece a refined, poetic character deeply connected to Palestine.
Each ring is entirely handcrafted by Ahmad, a Palestinian jeweller working in Jerusalem’s Old City, from hallmarked sterling silver 925. Its adjustable design allows it to fit comfortably around the finger.
To make your ring even more personal, a custom engraving can be added to the back, such as a name, initials, date or a few meaningful words.
The design is also available as a pendant and bracelet to create a matching set.
Avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household products. Gently clean the ring with a soft cloth suitable for sterling silver.
