Ahmad transforms an authentic antique Palestinian coin by hand into a unique piece of jewellery in his workshop in Jerusalem’s Old City.
For this bracelet, he uses a Palestinian 1 mil coin measuring approximately 2 cm in diameter, incorporating it into a bracelet entirely handcrafted from sterling silver 925. Each bracelet is made according to your wrist size, so please provide your wrist measurement in centimetres when placing your order.
As these are genuine antique coins rather than reproductions, the year, patina and appearance of the coin may vary from one piece to another. Each bracelet therefore has its own unique characteristics.
The Palestine pound was introduced in 1927 and divided into 1,000 mils. Coins issued during this period bear the name “Palestine” in Arabic, English and Hebrew, together with their year of minting. Today, they remain tangible pieces of Palestine’s history before 1948.
By choosing this piece, you directly support Ahmad and his family in Jerusalem, while helping to sustain Palestinian craftsmanship and traditional skills.
Avoid contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household cleaning products.
To restore the shine of sterling silver 925, gently polish it with a soft cloth suitable for silver.
All our products are shipped directly from Palestine.
If your order includes creations from several artisans, we carefully consolidate them so that you only pay one shipping fee.
For in-stock items, your order is prepared and dispatched within a maximum of 8 business days. Once your parcel has been shipped, you will receive an international tracking number to follow its journey.
Please allow additional time for items that are made to order, made to measure, or made by our artisans in the West Bank. This additional time varies depending on the product, the time required to create it and the time needed to reach our shipping point.
