This sterling silver 925 ring is individually handcrafted and engraved by Ahmad, a Palestinian jeweller working in Jerusalem’s Old City.
It features an excerpt from verse 21 of Surah Ar-Rum:
وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَكُم مَّوَدَّةً وَرَحْمَةً
“And He placed between you affection and mercy.”
The verse holds particular meaning for couples and marriage, referring to the mawadda (affection) and rahma (mercy) placed between spouses.
The inside of the ring can be personalised with the couple’s names, initials or a meaningful date, such as their wedding date. Each piece can therefore be created specifically for the person who will wear it.
Its understated design makes it suitable as both a men’s and women’s ring. Handmade in Jerusalem and personalised for its recipient, it makes a particularly meaningful gift for a wedding, engagement, wedding anniversary, husband or wife.
Avoid contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and chemical products. Clean the ring gently with a soft, dry cloth to preserve the shine of the silver and the details of the engraving.
