Where the Palestinian thobe takes the shape of Palestine.
This pendant brings together two distinctive elements of Palestinian heritage: the silhouette of Palestine and the thobe, the traditional dress whose embroidery reflects generations of Palestinian textile craftsmanship.
Ahmad translates this heritage into metalwork: the pendant’s silhouette evokes both a Palestinian dress and the map of Palestine, while its engraved details recall the geometric patterns of tatreez, traditional Palestinian embroidery.
Each piece is entirely handcrafted by Ahmad, a Palestinian jeweller in Jerusalem’s Old City, from hallmarked sterling silver 925.
A sterling silver 925 chain is included. Both the pendant and chain can also be ordered with a gold-plated finish (+€15).
