Ahmad transforms an authentic antique Palestinian 5 mils coin by hand into a unique piece of jewellery in his workshop in Jerusalem’s Old City.
Measuring approximately 2 cm in diameter, the coin is available in silver or bronze and set on a sterling silver 925 ring. The ring is adjustable to fit different finger sizes.
Beyond its aesthetic appeal, this ring allows you to wear a genuine piece of Palestinian history dating from before 1948. The inscriptions bearing the name “Palestine” in Arabic, English and Hebrew, together with its year of minting, make it a tangible piece of Palestinian history.

The Palestine pound (جنيه فلسطيني) was introduced in 1927 and divided into 1,000 mils. Coins issued under the Palestine Currency Board bore the name “Palestine” in Arabic, English and Hebrew. Today, these antique coins remain historical objects bearing witness to this period in Palestine’s history.
