A piece of jewellery inspired by the stained-glass windows of Al-Masjid Al-Qibli (Al-Aqsa), entirely handcrafted in Jerusalem.
For this pendant, Ahmad draws inspiration from the shapes and details of the stained-glass windows of Al-Masjid Al-Qibli, working them in silver before carefully inlaying the design with turquoise, a semi-precious stone known for its distinctive blue and blue-green shades.
The pendant bears the inscription:
وما توفيقي إلا بالله
“And my success is only through God.”
Taken from the Qur’an (Surah Hud, 11:88), these words add a spiritual dimension to the Al-Aqsa-inspired design.
Entirely handcrafted by Ahmad in his workshop in Jerusalem’s Old City, the pendant is made from hallmarked sterling silver 925 and also bears his “Made in Jerusalem” stamp in Arabic. A sterling silver 925 chain is included.
The back can be personalised with a name, date, a few words or a short phrase, making it a particularly meaningful gift.
