A fragment of Jerusalem, carefully set within the map of Palestine.
This signature creation by Ahmad began with a singular idea: not simply to represent Palestine, but to incorporate its earth into the jewellery itself.
At the heart of the sterling silver silhouette, Ahmad inlays genuine earth from Jerusalem, from the city where he lives and works. The material visible within the pendant is therefore neither a stone nor a decorative imitation: it is genuine earth from Jerusalem.
Ahmad conceived and developed this creation in his workshop in Jerusalem’s Old City. Each pendant passes through his hands, from shaping the silver to setting the earth within it, resulting in a deeply personal piece unavailable anywhere else.
The understated beauty of the silver highlights the natural tones of the earth, while the finely worked contours trace the map of Palestine. Two materials come together within a single piece: silver shaped by the artisan’s hands and earth that gives the creation its profound meaning.
Crafted from hallmarked sterling silver 925, the pendant is also stamped “Made in Jerusalem” in Arabic. It is available in silver or gold-plated and comes with a complimentary chain.
Now one of Palestinement’s signature creations, this pendant is made for those who wish to carry more than a symbol close to them: a genuine fragment of Jerusalem, handcrafted in Palestine by a Palestinian jeweller.
The design is also available as a ring, bracelet and earrings.
To preserve your jewellery and its earth inlay, avoid prolonged contact with water, perfume, cosmetics and household products.
Gently clean it with a soft, dry cloth and avoid applying abrasive products to the earth inlay. For the gold-plated version, also avoid repeated friction to help preserve the plating.
